Paul is a composer of choral works, jazz composition and media music.
He writes production music albums in various styles for KPM and West One Music Ltd., recorded using live players including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and London's top session musicians. As well as scoring for full orchestra, he also produces high quality music in his studio.
Diploma in piano performance at Trinity College, London and BA in Music at Kingston University London, where he won the composition prize in 1997. Reeves joined the Blood Brothers orchestra and worked on Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon, and Guiding Star at the National Theatre. Working as assistant to film composer Richard Harvey, Paul became Musical Director for the feature film Luther, starring Joseph Fiennes.
Over the past few years Paul has displayed an array of musical skills across a wide range of genres, composing no less than 12 diverse albums for West One Music, from choral to jazz and everything in between. Paul has written music for countless campaigns, the most recent being Wanchai Ferry for global advertising agency Saatchi and Saatchi, for which he showcased his incredible talent across all genres by creating a Chinese themed piece of music to assist Wanchai Ferry's £4 million media campaign. Paul’s musical credits also include TV shows such as Coast, the hugely successful sit-com Friends and the movie The Perfect Catch and the Emmy award winning TV series ‘Dexter’.
Paul has many commericals running world wide on television and the media for which he has composed the music, including ads and promotions for Dulux, Eurostar, Clairol and BA, and tracks for BBC Radio and Classic FM. The most recent advertisement is the Ancestry.co.uk campaign. Other credits include incidental music for US hit shows ‘Gossip Girl‘ and ’Mad Men’. Paul’s music is also being used extensively on movie trailers such as Coco Before Chanel

Paul Reeves has extensive studio and production experience, working as both composer and producer from external studios and at his own studio where he produces broadcast quality synced-to-picture masters. Paul is also an experienced orchestrator and arranger and has conducted his own music in Latvia, Bulgaria, Bratislava, and London.
Concert works include Elizabeth, a PRS foundation commision, various choral works and Te Deum, a new commission performed at the Kingston Festival of the Voice in November 2009. Paul's library albums in various styles for KPM and West One Music Ltd. include dance, jazz and classical music, recorded using Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and top session musicians. Current projects include a new jazz album and a Fantasy Orchestral Trailers album for West One.
